Did you want to entertain your teenagers with something creative and away from screens?
Pottery classes are a great way for teens to have some of that focused mindfulness that is both grounding and productive at the same time.
In this class, across a term, students will learn a range of hand building skills. Students will develop their skills and progress their work through the design, test, make and fire process to create unique take home pieces. We provide you with everything you need including clay, tools, equipment and glaze.
Duration: Depends on term – select options below to view.
Time: 9am – 10:30am (1.5 hours), Saturday mornings ongoing weekly classes.
Experience: Beginner
Class size: 6 people max
What to wear: Flat, closed toe shoes are essential. Wear comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty. Clay washes out easily so you won’t ruin your clothes.
What to bring: A pencil, eraser and an A4 or A5 sketch book – does not need to be anything fancy, just something you can put ideas and notes into. Ongoing students may like to start building their own collection of tools but this is not a requirement.
