End of week wind down

Who doesn’t need a bit of a wind down on a Friday after a long week?

Join the end of week wind down class for some relaxed, focused mindfulness time before the weekend comes.

In this class, across a term, you will design a piece or body of work (up to 5 pieces) using either hand building or wheel throwing (wheel work is available for students who have previously completed a wheel throwing workshop). You will develop your skills and progress your work through the design, test, make and fire process to create unique take home pieces. We provide you with everything you need including clay, tools, equipment and glaze.

Length: Depends on term – select options below to view.

When: Friday nights.

Time: 5pm – 7pm (2 hours).

Experience: Beginner (Ages 16 and over)

Class size: 6 people max

What to wear: Flat, closed toe shoes are essential. Wear comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty. Clay washes out easily so you won’t ruin your clothes.

What to bring: A pencil, eraser and an A4 or A5 sketch book – does not need to be anything fancy, just something you can put ideas and notes into. Ongoing students may like to start building their own collection of tools but this is not a requirement.

Note: You will need to be able to attend all dates as make-up classes and refunds for specific dates are not available.
